Disney's Animal Kingdom theme park is the newest of 4 theme parks at Walt Disney World Resort. Home to more than 1,700 animals from 250 species across 500 acres, Animal Kingdom is the largest animal-themed park in the world. During their tenure at Disney, Patsy Tillisch & Bob Pope were instrumental in park concept development, design and project management. As Associate Producer for the overall park, Patsy’s involvement from blue-sky concept phase through construction and opening included overall concept, design management, field art direction, and show production. As a primary project manager, Bob managed the design and construction of multiple projects for opening day in addition to several post-opening projects.
